Episode 12


It is time to leave to her new home. Sindhu cried on Radha’s shoulder. Ganapathy patted her head and sobbed.

“Be a good girl Sindhu. Bring respect to our names” she nodded with tears

Everyone bid goodbye to her and she left to Menaka’s house in their car along with Bharath, Vinoth and Menaka

The life which they never wanted to even dream, has started in a super puzzled way. Sindhu was still tensed. Bharath noticed her hands were shivering. He moved his hands towards her. She noticed and took away her hand and moved 2 inches away from him.

He was smiling at her reaction. He enjoyed teasing her.

Nuptial arrangement was made by Mallika and Vinoth. Sindhu was greeted in and was made comfortable. She lighted the diya at auspicious time. As dark occupies the sky, her heart beat was increasing. Bharath’s words were echoing in her ears. “You are mine now. Let us have fun time tonight”

“Oh my god! Has he cheated me. He said this is an agreement marriage. I cant do this. Shall I run away from here”

Bharath noticed her being tensed. He went near her and started humming romantic songs.

She gave embarrassing, sheepish, terrified, helpless look. She decided not to go inside the room. Even if she has to, she has decided to stay awake throughout the night.

By 7 PM Ganapthy and Radha arrived.

By 9 PM, the couple was asked to seek all elders blessing and made to enter the room. Bharath voluntarily hold Sindhu’s hand. She glared and pushed him away violently.

He giggled and made his face serious. After they entered the room, Bharath locked the door. All his actions gave Sindhu a worst nightmare. She took a pillow, dropped on the ground and lied down. Quickly she closed her eyes.

Bharath sniggered silently. “Hey. That’s ok. This cot is big enough to accommodate you. Come along”

She didn’t answer. He came silently towards her and looked at her very closely.

Sensing something she opened her eyes and yelled “NO!! See you promised something”

“Yeah! May be. But I promised on you. So I may or may not keep”

“Go away. Dare not to come near me”

“Are you sure you gonna sleep here”

“I am damn sure”

“OK!!” he stood up, and lied on the bed. He used all 4 pillows 2 for both his hands, 1 for leg and covered himself with blanket.

She was staring at him viciously

“Hope you are brave enough”

“For what?”

“there are 3..ah..no..4 I guess. Yeah! That’s right..4 big and 6-7 heirs”

“What are you talking about?”

“CENTIPEDES”

“WHAT?????” she got up immediately. She checked in the floor whether something is there and gave a helpless look

“Bharath and Centipedes: both are same category. But, it is easy to manage Bharath than those creatures”

He laughed at her reaction with his hands on stomach

“You moron..idiot..” she threw apple at him “You are lying”

“Your wish then. See I am damn tired. I am gonna sleep now. You remain there at the ground. That’s your place. Dare not step in this cot. AND..” he paused “if centipedes kiss you, don’t shout and disturb my sleep. You got it???” saying he covered himself with the blanket.

She pulled away the pillows from him and “This bed has been gifted by my DAD. I have full rights on it than you. Move away” she placed 2 pillows between them and lay down.

Bharath gave success gesture and shouted so that Sindhu could hear “YESSSSS!! YESSSSS!! Good job Bharath. Half way done”

Hearing this Sindhu immediately sat up and warned “Look! I can’t do this..be careful..i am warning you”

Bharath pretended to be frightened, then giggled. Without saying anything he laid down and put his leg on one of the pillows.

Sindhu pinched him with her nails. He shouted in pain. “This is what you’ll get if you dare to come near me. Next time, it would be knife” she promised herself to carry a pocket knife from next day onwards

Because of tiresome, her eyes closed automatically.

He stared at her for some time ensuring she slept; he smiled, threw a flower on her and pretended to be asleep

Sensing something touched her, she woke up with a thud. She sighed in relief that it is just the flower. She assumed the flower might have fallen from the garland hanging around the cot because of air. She peeped her head to see whether he has slept or not. Confirming he has slept, she decided to sleep. Time was 12:30 AM.

She was damn tired. When she closed her eyes, again a flower fallen on her. This continued for around 5 times. Each time she would wake up with a thud. She got a suspicion. She pretended to fall asleep with her eyes quarter open. She could see Bharath picking flowers. She covered herself with the pillow this time. Caught red handed

With the pillow she pushed him from the bed and he fallen down. She occupied the center portion of the bed.

He smirked and laid down very close to her.

“Dare not to come near me. Why are you torturing like this you moron”

“Because I like to torture you. I AM A SADIST you know ” he showed a monster face to her

“I will go out then” saying she started walking towards the door

“Hey hey..ok. you sleep. I will not disturb..ok deal. Come, let us sleep now??”

“WHAT??”

“”Ah..I mean, you sleep there. I will sleep here. That’s what I meant” and gave a wicked smile and went to the bed, put 2 pillows at the center, laid down, covered himself with the blanket and gave a fake snore. “Kkkorrrrrrrrr…Kkkorrrrr…”

She hit herself on her head and decided to be conscious anyways...as time passed by she started sleeping

Sun started to make his entry slowly distributing his light evenly to the earth. Waking up the cuckoos and cock to announce his entry
