My apologies for coming so late to publish the results. I had to travel suddenly and hence there was a delay.

The whole French revolution is so disturbing. On one hand one can well imagine how wretched the conditions of the peasants were and hence their anger is comprehensible.

On the other hand the tragedy of the queen Marie Antoinette is something that disturbs me immensely. A young Austrian princess who has grown up inside the protective confines of a palace gets married at the age of 14 and is transported to another castle in a foreign country. She lacks for nothing. What does she know of the harsh realities of the world outside? The statement attributed to her, if it is true, "If they don't have bread, let them eat cake instead" shows the total ignorance of real life rather than any wanton cruelty on her part. That she was so brutally murdered is indeed painful to imagine.

Could be a successful strategy to end flame wars. In future when people are going at it, simply bomb the thread with totally irrelevant images and clues. People will need a few moments to sit back and wonder whether there is some important subtext they are missing. Great idea Satchi! Amol Palekar's serene face has stupefied everyone into silence! :biggrin2:

    Happy New Year to all!!!

Wow!! so many pages and puzzles. Had been busy. My guests left on the 28th and then was busy with cleaning and preparing for the Pooja we had on the 2nd. Unfortunately, i got stuck with flu on new year's eve and now it is worse. For the pooja, we had 70 people. Catered some food, made some food.

Will be busy for a few more days and also try to recover from the flu.

@surekhap didn't make tiger soup but did made basmati kheer for the 2nd. We don't have terraces here otherwise would have loved to have it on the terrace with my honey.
