When our Indian neurites wake up, it will officially be the beginning of the new year and the new themes. This is a good time for a few gentle reminders. Please review the discussions on puzzle construction found here. With the new themes we will not have the luxury of intuitive correlation, something we've enjoyed with the puzzles from the homeland. To prevent frustration and poor response, design your puzzles without assuming prior knowledge. This means few or no clues that rely on direct recognition. Play with words and ideas. As far as possible keep clues creative. Don't paste the picture of some obscure Roman, or Chinese artifact and expect people to identify it. Let's use our imaginations! Let's also practice courtesy where required. Stick to one puzzle at a time, and cover up clues when in doubt. The new themes are officially open. Happy puzzle solving everyone!
Puzzle # 4875 Wish you wonderful new year 2016 Neurites. Here is the first puzzle on European History. It refers to an important history of a particular country in Europe. Please use the photos of the gentlemen only for correlation and focus your attention on images 4 & 5. It is a pretty easy and straight forward puzzle constructed to make the first one easy on European History.
