Pardon the naive question. How does one view the tags using an iPad?

Hold your finger on the hidden text. When the selection cursors appear drag them to select the hidden text. It will become visible. Works on the phone. Haven't tried on an iPad.

    Answer to puzzle 4522

    Person: Lal Krishna Advani

Probably the optical illusion referencing the timeline confused some. Yet amazingly, many solved it. :cheers

    Clues:
Image1: This is dual clue. It is the "Rath" of Arjuna driven by "Krishna". LK was famous for the "Rath Yatra" and has done a few of them. The first one in 1990 for the construction of Ram Mandir resulting in the fall of the then V.P. Singh's government.

Image2: "Jinnah". While on a visit to Karachi, LK said that Jinnah was "secular'. This statement created a huge uproar in India. He lost a lot of reputation within his party.

Image3: Ram. His took a stand on creation of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. However, once BJP was in power he didn't talked about it. The history is repeating currently

    Image4: Karachi: His birth place

Image 5: Red Rose. Red is "lal" in hindi. Direct clue to his name.

Image 6: His dream of becoming the prime minister remains unfulfilled till date. During the earlier BJP government, Vajpayee got preference. In 1999, BJP lost the election when he was projected as the PM candidate. In 2014, Modi got preference.

Please share your journey of this puzzle.

Once I saw Jinnah and Karachi.. I guessed it. I was following the infamous empathy he showed on Jinnah. The gulab ..ratha yatra ..ram and shattered dreams (to become the PM) confirmed the rest

    Dear Akanksha,

My journey was very simple. The moment I saw the map of Pakistan, I knew it was about L.K.Advani because the only famous Indian I know who was born in Pakistan is him. There are many Pakistanis who are all born in India.

But for a while I thought Akanksha was not going to give a simple clue and I could not reconcile the red roses as I didn't know Red in Hindi is Lal. But after the clues, I figured out my original assumption is correct.
