Answer to #4345 The answer is the southernmost point of India's territory -- INDIRA POINT It is located on the Great Nicobar island of the union territory of Andaman and Nicobar. Originally named Pygmalion point by the Danish, it was renamed Parson's point, and eventually, Indira point after the first female Indian prime minister. During the 2004 Indian ocean tsunami, the southernmost point was swallowed by the ocean. The actual southernmost tip is probably a few 100 meters inland on the Great Nicobar island, but no official location has been announced yet. Image 1: The keyword was Parsons, a direct reference to the previous name of the location. Image 2: Poster of My Fair Lady. The movie was based on the play 'Pygmalion' by G. B. Shaw. This was a reference to the earliest name of the location. Image 3: A lighthouse. The Indira point lighthouse was damaged by the 2004 tsunami, but it has since been restored to working condition. Image 4: IGNOU logo. The Indira Gandhi National Open University. Image 5: This was an indirect allusion to 'point'. The ballet move shown in the image is the 'pointe', which involves balancing the body on the tips of the toes. Ballet shoes are also called 'pointe shoes'. The two additional images were those of the 2004 tsunami and the cellular jail or kala pani. I tried making a puzzle about the cellular jail but it didn't work out, so I landed on this one instead. Fun fact: The word Andaman is a corruption of Hanuman or Handuman. It is believed that Lord Hanuman stopped here on his way to Lanka. Any combination of 'Parsons+Pygmalion+lighthouse' or 'Parsons+lighthouse+point' would have brought up the answer. With 'Indira' it was a slam dunk.
Please ignore the last image, it is trivia related to the answer.(For those who already got what I am speaking about and working on placing this - enlarge to read the two words) The first two images should lead to the answer. The formula should help.
I have a sort-of guess for PepperPot's puzzle.. barely. Couldn't make out the first letter/symbol of formula. : ) Searched for "Indo" in addition to "India" in each wiki page. And reminded self it is not a competition.
