Viswa's puzzle seems to point out to more than one Guru or mahan. I doubt that I have very limited number of neurons that are not powerful enough to grasp the detail.
I am amazed at the razor like sharp intellectuals of this particular forum.
I prefer to be a silent observer learning many valuable informations in the process.
When I learnt that all puzzles are visuals, I was reminded of an old time joke.
The children were asked to draw a grass field in which a cow was grazing. All children drew some sketches with green pencils, some stick like things of grass in a square and round field with some image resembling a cow with two horns.

One child simply gave the blank paper. He had written there" Earlier there was grass. The cow has eaten the grass. So now there is no grass. The cow ran away after eating the grass. So there is neither grass, nor cow.So I have given a blank paper.
I think the child had worthwhile neurons capable of making such interpretations about a blank paper.
I know this is out of context. But just to share.

I am not sure who is still working on the puzzle # 3418. However, please stop me if someone is still working on the answer. I am planning to post the answer latest by 6 p.m. ET today.

I purposefully made a simple puzzle a) to prepare a very compliant puzzle that would meet all the guidelines given by Gowri to practice myself and b) to give rest to the neurons especially after working on the blockbuster puzzle from @Deepslikes.

Puzzle # 3418 is about one of the greatest saints of India not from the point of view of the popularity but from what he taught to the humanity.

Here is the answer for the puzzle # 3418.

Lahiri Mahasaya (also known as Yogiraj or Kashi Baba)

Here is how the clues fit in with this divine soul's profile:

Clue 1: The map is Nadia District of West Bengal as he was born in Ghurni village (near present day Krishnanagar Town). It so happened that many great souls were born in West Bengal and hence specifically pointing out the district became important.

    Clue 2:
At the age of three or four, he was often seen sitting in meditation, with his body buried in the sand up to his neck (Satchi referred to this). When Lahiri was five, the family's ancestral home was lost in a flood, so the family moved to Varanasi, where he would spend most of his life.
    Clue 3:
As a child, he studied Urdu and Hindi, gradually moving on to Bengali, Sanskrit, Persian, French and English at the Government Sanskrit College, along with study of the Vedas. Reciting the Vedas, bathing in the Ganges, and worship were part of his daily routine.

Clue 4: In 1861, Lahiri was transferred to Ranikhet, in the foothills of the Himalayas. One day, while walking in the hills, he heard a voice calling to him. After climbing further, he met his Guru Mahavatar Babaji, who initiated him into the techniques of Kriya Yoga. Babaji told Lahiri that the rest of his life was to be given to spreading the Kriya message. The fourth image is Ranikhet in the foothill of Himalayas.

    Clue 5:
The central spiritual practice which he taught to his disciples was Kriya Yoga, a series of inner pranayama practices that quickly hasten the spiritual growth of the practitioner. He taught this technique to all sincere seekers, regardless of their religious background. In response to many types of problems that disciples would bring him, his advice would be the same — to practice more Kriya Yoga.

I purposefully didn't use the word Kriya Yoga anywhere as it would directly lead everyone to the answer. Instead if you type keyword of the first three images as Nadia District+Varanasi+Veda, anyone can land up on Lehri Mahasaya.

When I migrated to India, I was talking to a few of my neighbors. One of them is an American whose parents have migrated from France. He gave me two books one is written by Christopher Hills with a title "Nuclear Evolution: Discovery of the rainbow body" and the other is an autobiography of "Lahiri Mahasaya".

Many spiritual seekers have spoken about Mahaavatar Babaji and His cave still in existence in Himalayas. Lahiri Mahasaya is the guru of the famous Paramahamsa Yogananda who wrote the book, "Autobiography of a Yogi" and established, "Self-Realization Fellowship" program.

Note: More than one person said that these clues led them to "Chaithanya Mahaprabhu" and I am all ears to hear their conclusions and they need to take full credit if the images match 100%. Even Smt. Jayasala mentioned that the clues match more than one Guru and I am ready to hear about it.

Satchi, with limited time I had couldn't sol e your puzzle but learnt a lot about Puri Jagannath and history of coins. Busy traveling.

Viswa sir, my first choice was Lahiri Mahasaya. I knew about Lahiri Mahasaya, his guru, his disciple Yogananda but your puzzle led me to his gurus guru wonder who ? Bhogar... I searched for Varnasi + palm writing + Tibet ... As 4thpicture looked like a Buddhist temple and the last picture I tried was Kundalini. Anyway it was good to know about Bhogar and that reading helped me interpret one of my visions. Thank you.

    @jskls,

Like you, more than finding the answer, I enjoy the journey to find the answer. I get to know so much in the process of finding the answer which I would never come to know any other way. That is the beauty of this thread.

    Dear Viswa,
Though in haste I thought it was Sankara, on second observations I could trace it should be Mahaavatar Babaji or Lahiri Mahasay about whom I have studied a lot.
As I do not know how to do google search on images, I was simply waiting for your answer. This forum definitely leads to lot of learning experience, though we go wrong in our estimated answers. The map posed me a great problem.
In snippet forum we can express our views. Here everything is very much coordinated and very meaningful.I like it a lot. Thanks to Madam Gauri for taking great initiatives to bring out the best .

    Dear Smt. Jayasala:

I couldn't agree more what you said about Gowri. She is doing a phenomenal job of course with the help of some of the stalwarts like Aria, Soka and many others. Your participation as well as your opinion about this thread brings smile into my face.
