I would love that! I have an indexed list of all puzzles and their solutions in my Evernote for my personal use. I love going back and looking at specific puzzles and the conversations it triggered. It would be nice to be able to add that to the OP but as far as I know it isn't possible to have thread specific editing privileges.
Not clever ones, but I do have names for all our puzzles. Mostly related to the puzzle makers and how much those puzzles frustrated me! You know, like the titles for 'Friends' episodes -- "The one where Aria and Soka...." :biggrin2:
Hmm..usergroup based specific privileges should be possible, I think that is how they handle admin/mods privileges for specific forums/sub forums . I will let the engineers work it out..I am now on the other side of the fence(products rememberlaugh1smiley) This is not my area of expertise but one solution could be create a new thread called index to puzzles. The user group (we can figure out how to get into this group..again one option all those who have a min of say 250 posts) will have privileges to edit this thread at all times. I am beginning to like this idea a lot..a follow up post in the same thread with solutions indexed again.
I just posted a thread about this. Let's see what they suggest. Here's a link if you want to have your say. - http://www.indusladies.com/forums/s...-specific-editing-privileges.html#post3645704
I suggest we open a separate index thread parallel to http://www.indusladies.com/forums/e...growth/258242-lets-fire-up-those-neurons.html with editing privileges given to @Gauri03 or one or two more regular users of the thread. I suggest the puzzles be indexed by month like in "Finest Forum Index" with answers to the puzzles. This will definitely attract more ILites into the thread besides keeping the existing newbies interested. Viswa
Oh yeah, I remember that show - my mum used to watch it before dropping me off at daycare! I should check it out one of these days.
I should not read this thread at work! :rotfl:rotfl:rotfl All because I called you gramps? Good one! :biggrin2:
Attempting my second pictorial puzzle. Identify the person with Indian connection from the following pictorial clues. I have to split the pictures in two posts as IL allows only 5 per post.
