Akanksha could you link to the puzzle post in the answer and change font color to purple? Just a practice we use to differentiate answer posts from regular ones. Thanks!

    Answer to puzzle# 2582
The person is Thiruvalluvar and his famous work is Thirukkural

Image#1 Constanzo Beschi, known as Vīramāmunivar in Tamil (வீரமாமுனிவர்) or Constantine Joseph Beschi (8 November 1680 – 1742) was an Italian Jesuit priest, Missionary in South India, and renowned poet in the Tamil language. He translated and explained in Latin the famous Thirukkural epic poem of Thiruvalluvar. This Latin work was an eye opener for European intellectuals, discovering truth and beauty in a Tamil literature. They also found it to contain many thoughts similar to Christianity.

Image#2 :Valluvar Kottam - A monument constructed in memory of the poet where all the 1330 Thirukkural - Couplets are inscribed in hall corridors. The Valluvar Kottam is like a temple chariot, and it is a replica of the temple chariot in Thiruvarur. A life-size statue of the Thiruvalluvar has been installed in the 39-m-high chariot. The architect of the memorial is South Indian traditional architect V. Ganapati Sthapati, who is also the architect of the Thiruvalluvar Statue at Kanyakumari.

Image#3: The three fingers denote the three themes Aram, Porul, and Inbam, i.e. the sections on Moral, Wealth and Love. Thiruvalluvar statue is constructed with hand in this symbol. Thirukkuṛaḷ is divided into three sections: section one deals with Aram, good ethical behavior with conscience and honor ("right conduct"); section two discusses Porul, the right manner of conducting worldly affairs; and section three dwells on Kaamam, love between men and women.

The Thirukkural is structured into 133 chapters, each containing 10 couplets, for a total of 1330 couplets. The 133 chapters are grouped into three sections:
A couplet or kuṛaḷ consists of seven cirs, with four cirs on the first line and three on the second. A cir is a single or a combination of more than one Tamil word. For example, Thirukkural is a cir formed by combining the two words tiru and ‘’kuṛaḷ. Aram contains 380 verses, Porul with 700 and Inbam with 250.

    Image#4:
Location of Thiruvalluvar statue in Kanyakumari (near Vivekananda rock).

The Thiruvalluvar Statue is a 133 feet tall stone sculpture which was opened on 1st January 2000 and is located atop a small island near the town of Kanyakumari. The statue has a height of 95 feet (29 m) and stands upon a 38-foot (11.5 m) pedestal that represents the 38 chapters of "virtue" in the Thirukkural. The statue standing on the pedestal represents "wealth" and "pleasures", signifying that wealth and love be earned and enjoyed on the foundation of solid virtue. The combined height of the statue and pedestal is 133 feet, denoting the 133 chapters in the Thirukkural. The statue was designed by V. Ganapati Sthapati who designed the one in Valluvar Kottam.

Very informative. Thirukkural is also the most discussed Indian language literature for corporate governance and management.

These images point to a world renowned Indian personality. Who is it?

If you are into fashion and celebrity culture, this one should prove easy breezy. If you aren't, don't despair, a few carefully chosen keywords... And Voila! More clues as necessary.

Ides of Jan(15) – Thought would be an easy correlation to Ides of March, in the literal sense.

‘Beware the Ides of March’ – The soothsayer’s warning to Julies Caesar. Referring to Roman times, it’s the March 15[SUP]th[/SUP].

Jan 15[SUP]th[/SUP] is observed as the Thiruvalluvar Day, a cue to the renowned poet Thiruvalluvar.

    Technically speaking I’m wrong.
Ides – The 15[SUP]th[/SUP] day in March, May, July and October and the 13[SUP]th[/SUP] in other months. (Sorry If I was misguiding)
Like @Rihana said, Same way for
Kalends – 1[SUP]st[/SUP] day of the month in Roman calendar.
Nones – The 7[SUP]th[/SUP] day in March, may, July, Oct and the 5[SUP]th[/SUP] in other months.

While fashion is something this person is often associated with, that is not his/her primary claim to fame.
