He is - doofus with sunglasses in the pool. Maybe Oakley swim goggles I can understand. Actually I recognize this fellow. One of the few 'current' (still?) leading men I know by sight. Very good looking, but oh so, so, so self conscious an actor! Watching him in a film I get the feeling that he's in one loooong selfie, sans duck-face. Uh Hunh. Tell that to Mr. G.
I know this is an old (?) film, haven't seen it. Sung in Tamil accented English? :eek What fun! I know the occasional English of the "I Looowwwe You" variety does intrude in a song or two, but I don't know of any song sung in multiple Indian languages. Rahman, you listenin'? More innovashun is in order.
Steer clear of all movies directed by Karan Johar, Yash Chopra, Farah Khan, Rohit Shetty....actually the list is endless! Recommendation No. 1, Gangs of Wasseypur: I will only say this -- it is better than the Godfather. I know, I know, but it really is! The language might be an issue. Very rustic and authentic, and hard to understand but the movie is incredible. Here's what Rogerebert.com had to say about it - Gangs of Wasseypur Movie Review (2015) | Roger Ebert
Oh those poor kids. They understand our languages, at least at a rudimentary level, but won't answer in anything but English.
Poor dad's cry. I ended up buying two of them in the most expensive Rome shopping in 2008. My son wanted it but won't buy until dad buys one. He lost it in less than a year but dad remembered the cost and protects it more than himself.
There are many. Rahman's song in the movie Rooja (the hindi version has some interluding mix language) Lamhe has a Rajasthani song interluding with hindi English Vinglish has a marathi song interluding with hindi.
Here's the answer for puzzle in post #2584 1. All the movies were the first ("maiden") movie of the leading pairs. 2. All the movies had songs penned by the lyricists Anand Bakshi. (I did say i love poems) A simple googling would have given the answer.
