I think I got it. Am basing my guess on deepslikes clue - assembly of neurites. But now I know, not to count the chickens too early. : ) Is the last picture in the puzzle, to be taken as a general tourism picture to do with that area, or need to identify the exact place? -------------- Waiting for Viswa's answer/explanation too for #2557
Puzzle # 2667: Question: Find the person with the connection to India. Answer: The person is: Thomas the Apostle Clue 1: He is also called "Didymus" which means "the twin" Clue 2: The photograph of the mount near Chennai Airport is called, "St.Thomas Mount". Clue 3: He was accidentally killed by a single arrow in Mylapore, Chennai and his tomb is still carefully preserved in San Thome Basilica in Chennai. The Temple in the background and the tank in front are known as "Kapaleeswarar Temple" and "Theppakulam" in Tamilnadu. Clue 4: He is one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ. When the other Apostles told him about Jesus' resurrection, he doubted it until he verified it himself and therefore, he is known as "Doubting Thomas". (Many clues were given with reference to this by neurites who found the answer). Clue 5: He landed first in a harbor in former Tamilakam but presently known as State of Kerala and evidence of this is available in San Thome Basilica. My son visited only St.Thomas Mount and San Thome Basilica understanding the history of Christianity very well. In fact, discussion about this resulted in this puzzle. All my references about visit to Rome was with reference to pointing out that the person is one of the first to promote Christianity in India. Thanks to all the participants for their encouragement through their participation and for the excellent clues. I am so excited to see so many new ILites joining this thread when I myself is very new to this thread. Viswa
Viswa Sir, Butterflyice, Deepslikes have left solid clues. One picture is a clue to the monument of the person and the other one is to his work.
