Disclaimer: Newbie alert. not sure if I need to wait till previous one is officially solved to post. If so, please ignore until previous puzzle solved. OK I have one. Level: BQC Guess the person
If still pondering in our spiritual world, I don't think even a 'thatched' house belongs to you, as we leave everything here in the end, in this world.
It looks like everyone is done with Puzzle #2397 Question: Who is this person with connection to India? Answer: Attached Thumbnails The person is Margaret Elizabeth Noble affectionately known in the spiritual circle as sister Nivedita. She is a disciple of Swami Vivekananda and was part of the Ramakrishna Mission with a very special affectionate relationship with Sarada Devi. Picture clues: 1) Nobel medal is indicative of her last name Noble 2) Margaret Thatcher's photo to indicate her first name 3) Toddler is Queen Elizabeth to indicate her middle name. If I had included her present photo, it would have become a much easier puzzle. 4) Irish flag is to indicate her place of birth 5) Howrah bridge is to indicate Calcutta, the first place she landed before living in India 6) Darjeeling is the place where she died. While the first three images are only to give away the name, the last three images are to identify the person and establish the Indian connection. I was reluctant to give Ramakrishna Mission symbol or Swami Vivekananda's photo because it would make the puzzle very easy to solve. Already most of you solved it in no time. @jskls, sorry for misleading you towards Noble laureates. Even Margaret Thatcher's and Queen Elizabeth's photos were given only to indicate her first and middle name and she had no connection with either one of them. Thanks to everyone who gave clues for others to find the person. I am now ready for HappyMommy's puzzle. Viswa
I got this one wrong! My fault entirely. I thought it was M. Teresa. I fitted all but two clues to my answer and got lazy about working out the other two. Kinda pressed for time right now, will explain later tonight.
It must solve in order to pose, or it gets the hose! :tongue Sorry couldn't resist. That just rhymed so well. Bonus points for guessing where that line has been (partly) stolen from! :biggrin2: For future reference, we try to keep only one puzzle active at a time.
:wowCongrats Sir. I got one name but don't know whether correct or not. Could not figure any relationship between white rose and him except the dress he was wearing. Hmmmm..... Maybe is it a false lead.
