Any more hints for puzzle # 2335 for a novice neurite like me? It is too hard for me. I am eagerly waiting for the answer for puzzle #2299 from JAG.

Soka, you have set up the exam question paper for the faculties instead of the students. You have to use some moderation by giving some verbal clues (not like Koot Hoomi :)).

    Dear All
Sorry about missing in action after posting the puzzle..
The answer...drum roll please..one of the finest engineers from our very own Mera Bharat Mahan. Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya.
Here is the explanation for the clues. Sorry Viswa..I try to keep images which would require no prior knowledge.
Image #1 : Port of Aden. Port of Aden occupied a very important strategic position in the British Empire. Aden is the first sea port when one enters the Suez Canal from India. Visveswaraya laid out an
effective underground drainage system and prepared a scheme to provide drinking water. He was awarded Kaiser -i Hind medal for this.
Image #2 Krishna in Brindavanam :) Visvesvaraya supervised the construction of the Krishna Raj Sagar Dam across the Kaveri River .This dam created the biggest reservoir in Asia when it was built . He was also the brain behind Brindavan Gardens one of the must-see..places when we visit Mysore,
Image #3 ( u can use the word dam for ur search )
He also designed and patented a system of automatic weir water floodgates that were first installed in 1903 at the Khadakvasla Reservoir near Pune.
    Image #4 Bharat Ratna.

    Brilliant engineer and visionary!

Ha, ha, Viswa, that is not the case. All (well, most?) of my puzzles are designed to be solvable without prior knowledge, although that may help of course. Designing obscure puzzles is easy - so I avoid that - it's harder to gently nudge someone toward an answer while adding a few distractions & keeping the answer interesting, so that there is a little 'reward' at the end.

You are overthinking it! Don't try to look at all clues - obviously they cannot all be equally informative right?

    Hints:
    (a) Who's that bedouin?
    (b) Why Mary and Anne?
    (c) What do the flags and Zeenat Aman converge on?
    (d) What could that little building be? (for confirmation).

If this does not help, I will add more pics to get you closer. thinkingsmiley

    @Viswamitra
For S's puzzle # 2335 Start with what first hits you when u see the puzzle.
Two stamps . One with Mary II and one with Anne. Now use these three keywords
in google and see where that leads. Take results from that and try to connect it to India since that is ur theme.
Am I on the right track..@sokanasanah

Sure, yes, there are multiple ways to approach it. In any case two clues are sufficient to lead you very close to the person. Others can be confirmatory.

    Who's that dapper mouse?

    Gentle reminder -

We had promised @Srama, our silent but beloved reader, that we will always highlight the answer in bold purple font. Also provide a link to the puzzle post in the answer. Makes it easier to separate regular posts from the solutions.

    Thanks!
