    I like the picture format too.

    Question: @Gauri03, How do you upload the picture puzzle here? Does it have to be in a specific format? I made one using paintbrush, am unable to post it here though.

    @Rihana - Tirupati laddoo (southindyun) to Hariprasad ( northindyun). Rajni to Amitabh, lol. I loved this clue!

    IL only allows jpgs and gifs. I have problems with all other formats. Size matters too. Large pics don't get uploaded.

    Like I said, it is not a big deal to me. I like to keep them puzzles coming that's all! If 2 threads is what the majority wants then so be it.

    that said, I want to address a pet peeve of mine. Sometimes as you too know, this thread goes dormant for months on end. Okay, no problem. Then one fine day it reactivates but I have no clue. :bangcomp:

    A couple of weeks or so later I will notice it by chance in the recent posts and rush over to find I missed a couple (sometimes even more!) of juicy ones and the rest of you are having a party in here! :bangcomp:

    I was so mad/chagrined to discover I had completely missed the PGW one, for instance, that started off this latest cycle. waitingsmiley

    Please suggest a way to address this, for me, very huge problem whenever the thread goes dormant. Counteracting this issue was the real reason behind my suggestion to keep this thread going with ready made puzzles!

    LOL! Glad to help. Subscribe to the thread. I am auto subscribed since I'm the thread-starter. Every time someone posts here I get an email notification, like just now you posted and my phone went ding. Be warned it can get super annoying on days when the thread is very active. You can find that option under thread tools up top.

    Me too! I was as chagrined as Aunt Agatha on a picnic in the country, hungry and cross, on realizing that the basket with lunch and high tea is in the other car, driven by Jeeves, that conveniently broke down miles away.

    One way could be that the first line in Gauri's signature be less cryptic, so we pay attention to the second. :)

    Can you believe it all that time we were updesh-giving in Reln forum. :hide:

    Jokes aside, in any thread, just above the first post in any page, there is a "Thread Tools" dropdown, which has "Subscribe to this Thread" option which causes email notifications to be sent whenever new posts happen in thread. But, this is email, not a PM. So, it'd depend on whether you check that email often enough.

    Added later: Just read Gauri posted similar option above.

    Tirupati laddoos...yumsmiley I can smell them from a mile away. Once or twice a year, my husband arranges to get a few jumbo sized kalyana laddoos for me. I gulp them down like Bakasura's big sis.
