Uffo, I was only auditioning for the role of acclaimed tragic heroine of Western literature i.e 'Deirdre of the Sorrows' at West End. Started with 'formalistic acting' then converted to 'realistic acting' heady with plaudits from Globe Theatre.
One of my friends has just now tweeted this page that lists various online collaborative tools used in classrooms. I don't see any reason why one can't employ them in online pursuits, MOOC classmates and other group activities. I've not tried all the tools but neat chat, stinto and bounceapp seem pretty cool.
