Google says there is a Doordarshan colony in Vadodara which has a sweet shop selling the sweet you posted. This track is way more scary.... Also famous Gujarati newspaper with the same name as the sweet printed from Vadodara!
It ain't honey. I had it yesterday. Just forgot to post, what with all the cross posting about food that was going on. Yes, the answer was part of the audio theme puzzle.
Somethings just don't get conveyed the same way in English. I like the occasional lapse into vernacular. Why just Hindi, bring on your tongues people. For stuff we can't discern from context alone, we have Google's translator to help.
What if I had posted these, you would have forgotten ME even, I'm a foodie by soul! Nothing interests me more than foraging for Indian (+ continental) food in the cobbled alleys, fustian seats, flashy canteens, skidrow neon-lights, or high-end khana-daarbar. How in the world do you remain skinny as a stick insect if you eat all that?! I breathe air and it goes straight to my ...err...you know what I mean.
So which state is Gauri's Rasoi dishing out today? (edited: removed notes on few personal identifiable habits)
ANSWER to #1329 Inaugurating the purple font to answer #stationroundel+RGV(scare!)+whitesweet+doordarshan+fangedcur "Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay" Nothing as resourceful & better than outsourcing details to wiki link here Two of his immensely popular fictional characters are Baroda & Byomkesh Bakshi (or Satyanweshi). Acclaimed as the Arthur Conan Doyle of India (not disputing his originality but only literary genre parallelism). White sweet - sondesh and rasagulla to denote Bangla. If you were not around to watch the 90s thriller titled "Byomkesh Bakshi" starring Rajit Kapur here is the title track which also featured in Gauri's audio-item round of quizzing. Special note: ButterflyIce added a nice autumn touch to the puzzle! BTW - were you around when Gauri posted the audio puzzle? (next time may be bit darker shade thinkingsmiley) (why next time, flip)
