Mohatharma Gauri, why did you underestimate me saheba? Okey, I'm pretty bad with mythology but pics were like tinkle, ACK stories! (how could I not know or identify them)
I thought this would interest our neurites. A chart listing a few of the most famous dishes from each Indian state. I've decided to start from one state, and work my way through each one of these over 2015. Since Mr G is a veggie, I'll have to modify a lot of these for a vegetarian palate. thinkingsmiley I'm gonna share this chart with our dear resident Finn. Give her some idea of how many options one can have even if all you do is drench food with random spices. ;-) Map courtesy: India Food, Drinks - Indian Cuisine | India Quick Facts click image to enlarge
Same as I speak , starts off with English and then 5 min into the convo .. Moreover you must be crazy for dashing into warna , <vernacular#1> , <vernacular#1> , <slang> , stupendous I tell you , <vernacular1>, phir bhi <broken vernacular#2 of mom> (back in India) Cacophony at helm!
What are these coded messages passed across, snippets, "forum to read", am I missing something very obvious, slapped on my face blocking my vision? :eek
(New issue..) Last time my compadres didn't dine and embarrassed the host, this time they were glued to their dining chairs and refused to return to work, glutting on, glutting on glutting ..@G's home humiliating me. (Raargh! How do I deal with such imbecile team)
(to cheer Gauri's gastro-mission to embrace taste of India) Indian royal tali at a local restaurant. yes that was only for one person & that was ME :biggrin2: View attachment 216661
I'm gonna share this chart with our dear resident Finn. Give her some idea of how many options one can have even if all you do is drench food with random spices. ;-) Should help the bonding exercise with desi office, what with the food competition and awards...... some more rants likely to come up on IL....
