Difficulty level: Moderate. I don't say 'easy' because you may not have heard of him. He is by no means obscure, but yet, I am surprised by how few people in my overeducated circle know him. I am posting this anyway, because if you haven't heard of him, I want to be the one to introduce him to you! To compensate, I have made the clues relatively straightforward. As always, there's more than one way to get at the answer and not every clue needs to be solved!

 

Greorge Harrison of the Beatles is the one with the guitar!! I remember when he passed away in 2001 and was cremated according to Hindu rituals in Ganga, I was working with the British Airways cargo division at Heathrow ariport and we all were quite surprised/excited that we were responsible for the remains of the great musician!!!
