Of course! Maybe I will tag one of the regulars here as a buddy for the new contest and get them to run as well! Soka and Sandhya look like good candidates!!! Maybe they are going to run anyway, run far far away from my posts like my friends IRL who steer clear of my couch to 5k chats!
Is he Albert uderzo?...creator of Asterix?....please dont say its wrong...my neurons got char coaled already..
Keeping up with the spirit of the week: Ecce femina! In his autobiography, Nietzsche used ironic chapter titles such as “Why I Am So Clever” or “Why I Am So Wise” or “Why I Write Such Good Books” to reflect on his status as a philosopher and as a man. Reflecting on her own art, this unschooled artist, blind not merely in name, could well have done the same with the title “Why I am such a Good Artist”. With one inspired work, she restored our faith in the power of art to move us. Defying all convention, she gave new meaning to Luke 9:22 - “… The Son of Man must suffer many things …” . Difficulty: Trivial.
Well, I am allowed to give a question irrespective of me being wrong....right? I am always amazed of ladies who chose unusual professions, that too when women were expected ONLY to look pretty. clue1 : Look at what she is holding.... Clue 2: A part of her name is related to , Jesus.
Woah, two puzzles at once! This is looking like a good week and we're not even over hump day yet. PS: Welcome to the thread Roar. I wish more of our silent readers (I know you're out there :wave) would join us.
Roar's Puzzle - She would never have imagined that the profession she pioneered would become associated with a fad diet.
Thanks for the welcome Gauri ...yup you are right about the puzzle! Soka...its not the puzzle of the week, it seems puzzle FOR the week(for me atleast) ... may I ask if you can give any other clues?...
It is actually very, very easy. You are simply assuming it's complicated because of all the fancy-pants references. I am just messing with your mind. I generally try to make sure that the puzzles don't rely solely on memory or recognition or deep knowledge of a subject, although of course that may help. Most of my puzzles are designed to lead you to an interesting story, not to be too taxing in themselves. Think of it like a gentle hike, nice trees, shade, a babbling brook beside the path and a great view at the end. No rock-climbing or crevasses or oxygen-masks involved! I hope you know that although reverse image search is verboten, judicious use of google is encouraged. Re: more clues, let me think a bit - almost anything I may say would be equivalent to an answer. I have already laid it on pretty thick. Very simple deduction + google and you are there! When I give you the answer, it will be a 'doh', I assure you, even if you haven't heard of our subject! Method: the statement of the puzzle should be enough to generate some keywords that should be sufficient to generate a top hit on google for the answer. You need only two!
Despite not being let to become a past of history, she became a part of history!! Fad diet???? I'm stumped. I don't know what you are talking about!!!! the one diet I know is very real according to Dr Google. Shhhhhh don't call it a fad.
