I seem to be having the opposite problem. I have a composite pic that, after the upload, appears rather too small in this box, no matter the original size! Hmmmm?:confused2:
Hmmm...not sure what's up. Usually I just try playing with the dimensions in Paint, and it seems to work, most of the time. Size it up, maybe? Just thought of something. It might be possible the image appears zoomed in on your photo processing software? Check the actual dimensions at 100% zoom level. I remember having this problem once. I just resized it to look the way I needed it at 100% zoom.
Each picture is a word. The words lead to one of the most famous opening lines in all of literature. There is a pun in the line also represented here (but not as a pun, of course!). Not all the words in that line are here, because of the five attachment limit on IL and because a pictorial depiction of that word, while 'clear' in hindsight, is likely to mislead - so it's better left out - but these images should be sufficient. More clues as needed! Difficulty: Trivial if you know the line. Moderate if you have to engineer it via google! Warning!: One clue is indirect. You should be able to figure out which one with no trouble! The rest are direct (i.e. word & picture are very close).
Well, I don't want things to be unnecessarily frustrating, so here's the sixth image as a bonus. It is not part of the line, but still a dead giveaway! If you are in the right frame of mind, you are seconds away from a solution. Enjoy!
I thought that was a blackhawk , hawk , bird , doing something in that line but then realized it may be where the military blackhawk is heading towards inverse of where the solisticed son bounced by dad was heading towards (because there was a direction in dad and son's picture). Of course there was cathedral, sun, winter to conjoin. I had a hunch of the line based on cathedral, sun, winter, military, solstice of bliss. A twain skeleton in soka's daguerreotype, the bonus softly patting, it may be what you are thinking. Soka — would I be able to find the pun if I digged deeper round the clock till the rest of the year?
Identify the personality embedded in these images. Each represents may be a work, anthem , doctrine popularized by that person. Only one person we are talking here!
The 'hunch' is good , but the helicopter image is relevant too. Not sure whether you solved it or not, so here are more clues: The helicopters do reference a word, but in a 'difficult' way. You can either see it at once or not at all. It is a very famous image though & if you recognize it, then the simple word is right there. That is the odd one out, the 'indirect' clue. Unlikely that the word 'helicopter' appears in the first line of a famous literary quote, right? That image was provided as an aid to those who might catch it right off - if you don't recognize the image, the content of the image won't help you. However, you don't need it. Three simple words derived from the other images will lead you to the quote on google. I tested that before posting. Image-six suggests where to look. It instantly reduces the search space to just two familiar characters in literature, one of which is the useful one. The rest of the images then serve as validation tests. See if this image helps. Goes with the helicopters. High res to make it easy, but again, if you don't recognize the image, if you cannot figure out where its from, then it will not help you! This is an iconic image as well.
