Baked Paneer - ideal with rotis. Paneer - 200 gms Milk - 2 cups Onion paste - ½ cup Ginger paste & green chilli paste - each, 1 tsp Cornflour - 1 tbsp Butter - 1 tbsp Ajwain (omum) - 1 tsp Oil - 2 tbsp Chop paneer into tiny cubes & shallow fry in 1 tbsp oil. Remove & keep immersed in warm water to become soft. Heat oil & fry all the 3 pastes. Keep aside & heat butter. Saute cornflour till colour changes & add milk. Simmer till mixture thickens. Pour this on onion mixture & paneer, drained from water. Sprinkle ajwain as topping. Bake at 200 deg C for 10 mts. Serve hot.
Low Fat Fruit Biscuit – very crisp, but not “melt-in-the-mouth”. Maida - 2 cups Baking powder - 1 tsp Powdered sugar - ½ cup Ghee - 2 tbsp Mixed fruit - 50 gms Chopped almonds & cashews - each 1 tbsp Sieve maida, baking powder & sugar twice. Rub in ghee thoroughly. Add mixed fruit & chopped nuts. Mix to a soft dough, adding enough water. Roll out on a floured board to ¼ “ thick sheet. Cut into desired shapes. Arrange on a greased & flour-dusted baking tray. Bake at 350 deg F for 15 mts till golden. After all batches are baked keep them all in a tray & bake in a very low oven for 30 mts to make them more crisp.

Dear Rama, It is not actually baking a second time. It is just keeping it warm for a longer time to make it more crisp.The fat content being low, otherwise it may be a little soft in the centre. Love, Chithra.

dear Mrs chitra ji ,if given a choice between an otg that has a max temp of 250 and a one with 270 which one should be preferred and why.what is turbo air function?thanks and regards,humera.
Dear Humera, I personally feel 250 is sufficient. I saw the following on the net about turbo air fnction. the turbo will "surge" making a kinda 'wub wub wub wub' sound (I've heard this) and go between spinning forward and backwards with the unequal pressures. I don't think, you need to bother much about it. It is spinning forward & backward from what I understand. Love, Chithra.
