Sorry for the delayed response. I read the chapter when you posted the questions, however got delayed in posting the answers in the forum.
My apologies.
Here are the answers.
1. To whom Baba gave VishnuSahasranamam Book and what did he say?
BABA gave the Holy Book - Vishnu Sahasranamam to Shama and told that the book is very valuable and it has helped BABA and brought him out of danger. BABA asked Shama to read at least slowly, little by little, atleast one namam every day.

2. "Oh Ramadasi, what is the matter with you? Why are you so turbulent? Is not Shama our boy? Why do you scold him unnecessarily. How is it that you are so quarrelsome? Can you not speak soft and sweet words?"
Who has said these above words and what we understood from this?
BABA told these words. Ramadasi is reading the holy books everyday, but still he was very much attached to the worldly things and was scolding Shama.
By this, BABA conveys the beautiful message that we should have no “Mamata” but have “Samata” towards all.

3. How Baba blessed and what he has asked to chant always?
Mrs. Kharparde was very much blessed to do service to BABA by preparing lovely dishes and massaging BABA’s legs. BABA blessed her by giving full justice to her dish and also he massaged her arms back. BABA also asked Mrs. Kharparde to chant “Rajarama” Rajarama.

4. What we have learned from this chapter?
Reading sacred books like Sai Satcharithra should not be done for formality sake, we should understand the meaning and BABA’s nectar like words and make our mind pure.

Congrats on getting nominated for the satsung. Here are my answers for the questions. Kindly let me know if i had misstated or misunderstood anything.

1. What did devotee Goulibua say about sai?

Goulibuva was an old devotee aged 95 years. He confirmed that Sai BABA is the real Pandarinath. BABA is Pandarinath’s incarnation, the merciful Lord of poor and helpless.


2. What did Das Ganu maharaj say when baba asked him to do naamasaptah? How did baba fufill his promise?
Das Ganu Maharaj told that he would do naamasaptah, however he wanted Vithal to appar himself at the end of the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] day and BABA promised that it would happen if the devotee is earnest and devout. And BABA did fulfill his promise. Kakasaheb Dixit saw Vithal in his vision and when he went for BABA’s darshan in the noon, BABA asked whether he met Vithal and asked him to hold Vithal tight. There was yet another Vithal darshan which happened thru the man who was selling Vithoba stickers.

3. How did baba fulfilled the wish of Dasganu? (taking bath in Prayag)
Das Ganu always wished to take bath in the Holy Tirth of Prayag and came to BABA to get his permission.
BABA told that he doesn’t have to travel so far for that and then the miracle happen. From the holy feet of BABA, holy streams of Yamuna and Ganga flew out. Thus he fulfilled Das Ganu’s request.

4. Name the three wada’s and the people who built the wadas.

1. Sathe Vada – Site around the Neem tree – Built by Hari Vinayak Sathe
2. Dixit Wada – Built by Kakasaheb Dixit
3. Palatial Mansion – Samadhi Mandir – Built by Mr. Booty

1)What is the mission of the Saints as given in the Saisatcharithra?
The mission of the Saints is that first they feel for the evil-doers and then they set them on th right path. To them the good and the wicked are the same.They are incarnated for the welfare of the devotees.


2)Who was the devotee who was asked to leave Shirdi by Baba the very next day after his darshan?

Kaka Mahajani was the devotee who was asked to leave Shiridi the very next day after the darshan.

Kaka Mahajani went to Shirdi from Bombay. He wanted to stay there for one week, and enjoy the Gokul-Ashtami festival .But Baba understood that his employer need his presence in the office and asked him to leave Shiridi.

3)A Brahmin from Nasik experiences supreme bliss in Shirdi.Who was he and what was his experience in Shirdi?

Moolay Shastri was the Brahmin from Nasik who experienced supreme bliss in Shiridi.

The experience was-one day after the noon aarti baba asked booty to get some dakshina from Moolay Shastri.When booty asked for the dakshinaHe thought in his mind in this way"I am a pure Agnihotri Brahmin, why should I pay Dakshina? Baba may be a great Saint.I am not His dependent." But as a great Saint like Sai Baba was asking for Dakshina through a millionaire like Booty, he could not refuse and he went with Booty to the Masjid. Thinking himself holy and sacred, and the Masjid otherwise, he remained at a distance, and after joining his palms threw flowers at Baba. Then lo! all of a sudden, he saw no Baba on the seat,but saw his late Guru Gholap Swami there. He was wonder-struck. He was speechless for some time. Ultimately leaving off all doubt, he went up, fell at his Guru’s feet and closed his eyes. When he got up and opened his eyes, he saw Baba asking for Dakshina. Seeing Baba’s blissful form and His inconceivable power. Moolay Shastri forgot himself.

Ali Mohamod was suffering in Bombay.

2. Who wished to read Jnaneswari? What is his experience while reading?

Mr.B.V.Deo who was Mamlatdar of Dahanu (Thana District) wished to read Jnaneshwari .

He could not read Jnaneshwari with peace of mind.whenever he took Jnaneshwari in hand, some difficulties cropped up and he was precluded from reading it. He could read there other books but when he opened Jnaneshwari, some evil or stray thoughts came crowding in his mind and stopped him in the effort.Try however he might, he was not able to read even a few lines of the book with ease.

3. How BABA guided him in reading Jnaneswari?


One day Deo asked Balakram what baba told him and how he was taught meditation.But balakram couldn’t answer as Baba sent one Chandru to call Deo to him. When Deo went to Baba, the latter asked him when and with whom and what
he was talking. He said that he talked with Balakram and heard from him His fame. Then Baba asked again Rs.25/- as Dakshina which Deo gladly gave. Then Baba took him inside and sitting near the post charged him saying - stole away My rags without My knowledge.Deo denied all knowledge of the rags, baba got very angry.. He returned to the Wada and told Jog and Balakram all that had happened. Then in the after-noon Baba sent for all and Deo also, Then Baba asked again for Rs. 12/- Deo collected the amount, paid it and prostrated himself before Him. Then Baba said to him - "Go on daily reading the Pthi (Jnaneshwari), go and sit in the wada, read something regularly every day and while reading, explain the portion
read, to all with love and devotion. I am sitting here read to give you the
whole gold embroidered Shella (valuable cloth), then why go to others
to steal rags, and why should ou get into the habit of stealing?"
Deo was much pleased to hear the words of Baba, for He asked
him to start reading Pothi (Jnaneshwari). He thought that he got what
he wanted and that he could read the book with ease thenceforth.
