    MW Vessels - 2

These are 3 Borosil vessels, smaller in size to the Halwa vessel.
This shape is multipurpose & ideal for cooking rasam, gravies, vegetables etc.
The biggest is correct for making ghee from 1/2 kg butter. It is also suitable for making small quantities of sweets.
Precooked pulaos can be assembled & microwaved.
But they are not suitable for baking.

The rectangular dish is ideal for baking any dish. It is ideal for setting Thayir Vadai in the firdge & for arranging salads.
The other 2 are multi purpose, like boilng vegetables, making tomato puree, cooking spinach etc.

The left side square dish is for casseroles & general baking.
The other 2 are shallow & multipurpose.

    Dear Chitra madam

Saw ur collection of borosil bowls but as they r heavy and needs utmost care while handling I am finding them using a little bit inconvenient. Can we use ceramic for baking cakes in MW?. Till now I do not have any ceramic ones except small serving bowls. Can u suggest some ceramic bowls for different purposes and pl do post the photoes of ceramic ones, though u have posted some in your first batch of MW vessels I want to see ur entire collection.

    With regards
    varudhini

    These are some ceramic vessels.
The blue is ideal for gravies. It is from Domit, Calcutta.
The pthers are all available in Chennai. They are also not light, but as heavy or as light as borosil.
