Re: Lasagne with mixed vegetabls & Paneer - Indian version, from scratch.

    Dear Chitra
You have mentioned Tomato sauce and also something called topping. You have asked to spread sauce for each layer too. Which sauce should be used for each layer - tomato sauce mixture or the white sauce mixture (topping)?

Re: Lasagne with mixed vegetabls & Paneer - Indian version, from scratch.

    Dear rsekaran,
Use tomato sauce to cover each layer & white sauce for topping. Sorry, if I was not clear in my instructions.
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear Chitra,

    Dear Chitvish,
My daughter Subha loves the sweet/salt biscuits which we get in Madras.I thought i would make some for her and found your recipe.I would like to know if butter can be used instead of ghee for the salt biscuits.

Subha is well and her baby is due next week. Will let you all know as soon as I become a Paati !!!

    Dear Latha,
First accept my congrats on "going to join" our ranks.
Only ghee gives the right texture & not butter. Infact, dalda gives the best flaky texture!!We do not use it anymore!!
    Love,
    Chithra.
