    Dates Milk Shake

    Ingredients:
    Chopped Dates- 1 cup
    sugar- as per taste
    chopped pistachios- 2 tbsp
    milk- 3 cups

    Method:
Boil milk and after sometime bring to a simmer, add dates and cook till soft (5 to 8 mins) in a low flame.

Cool this and reserve a few tbsp of pulp aside.
Blend the rest with milk and sugar.
You can make it thinner or thicker depending upon the amount of milk you use.
Finally mix in the pulp and nuts.
Give a good stir and serve it chilled.
    Very good for health.

    Hi Saikripa,

Evaporated milk means reduced milk. We get here. It is not like Milk maid, but thick milk without sugar. I will use them to make ice creams, Milk Payasam and Sarkarai Pongal:crazy It will reduce the preparation time that is all.

    Chocolate Sauce for Ice cream

An easy recipe for chocolate sauce for desserts or ice cream.

    Ingredients:

1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips / chocolate bar

    3/4 cup whipping cream

    1 teaspoon vanilla

    Method:

    First take a small saucepan.

In that heat chocolate chips and whipping cream, stirring constantly.

Continue to cook, until chocolate is melted and sauce is smooth.

    Pour vanilla in that.

    Mix well.

Serve over dessert or ice cream.

    Makes about 1 1/4 cups.

Note: While melting the chocolate be careful and keep the heat low.

If you dont get chocolate chips you can use normal chocolate bar. It will taste great.:crazy

Instead of cream you can use salt less butter. Or you can use both.
