    Dear IL's,

    Please try one more healty idli :)

    Oats Idli


    Ingredients


    Oats - 1 Cup

    Sooji - 1 Cup

    Grated Carrot - 1/2 Cup

    Grated Coconut
    Curd

    Coriander Leaves
    Green Chillies - 2 No

    Salt


    Seasoning

    Cumin Seeds
    Mustard

    Oil

    Asfotedia



    Fry Upma Sooji and Oats separately with a spoon of oil and put them in a bowl.


    In a pan add all the seasoning ingredients, grated carrot, grated coconut, green chillies, chopped coriander.

    In a bowl add all the above mentioned fried mixture and mix well with good amount of curd. Add salt to taste and allow it to set.

    Grease the idli plates and add this batter and pressure cook for 10 minutes / 15 minutes until the idlies are soft.

    Serve idlies with coconut chutney and ghee.

    Thank you Malathi for posting this simple and nutritioous recipe. Looks yummy. Our friend Shruthi has already tried it and given a thumbs up. so it must be great. Will surely try next week.

    Can powder the oats , add 1/4th cup of sooji.This also turns out well .
