Learnt this new chat from my family friend when we went for a dinner over there.

Very simple yet delicious and healthy chat.

    Ingredients:

Frozen/fresh corn as required.(microwave corn for 2 minutes without any water)
    Large onion 1 chopped finely
    Large tomato chopped finely
    coriander leaves a handful chopped
    chat masala as per taste.
Papad as per persons count.(you can apply few drops of oil over the papad and microwave for a minute.

    Method:

Mix corn, onion, tomato, coriander leaves and add chat masala to it and check the taste.Place few tablespoons of this mix over the papad and enjoy eating.
The corn mix is eaten along with papad.:)

Re: Corn papad chat and chicken kotthu parotta.

hema we make this corn chat at home frequently. it is one of those vegetables i can have generously, (it is not in the list of restricted veggies..yippeeee)

we sometimes add some sev to the same to get crunchiness. and pomegranate if it for a party..

and another trick i learnt from some cookery show..is to roll the papad as it starts to cook..to get that boat shaped ones..and it looks great as a party starter..

this is a variation of masala papad... quite common across the northern part of India... corn is the variation.. we can, infact, add finely chopped cucumber cubes, grated carrot too

Very nice to know that it is a common chat in your house.I liked your tips like adding sev and making it into the boat shape.
