I was tired of eating oats porridge.......so tried oats dosai this week. Recipe---3/4 cup oats(powder it in mixer) 1/4 cup wheat pinch of cooking soda coriander and curry leaves(i add them generously!!!!!) finely chopped 1 green chilli and onion After grinding oats coarsely, mix it with all other ingredients with water and keep it aside for 10min. I haven't tempered the batter with oil, mastard, jeera......i mixed the ingredients directly........since i use non stick one, i applied 3drops of oil around the tawa only in the beginning. I have tried the same version with buttermilk, but i dint get it in proper shape:bonk:bonk......so i used only water( may be adding rice flour would give crispiness). I had it with channa dhal(kadale) chutney.........i am loving oats dosai than wheat dosai now !!!!!!!!
