Hi Friends..! You know, Its very easy to prepare buns at home. This was my first attempt and it came out great! :thumbsup Just give a try and share your experiences.. Ingredients: All purpose flour - 3 and 1/2 cups Yeast (dry active ) - 2 tbsp.(1 packet) Vegetable oil - 1/3 cup Sugar - 1/4 cup Egg - 1 no. Salt - 1 tsp . approx. Preparation: 1) Dissolve yeast completely in 3/4 cup of luke warm water 2) To this add veg. oil and and sugar. Mix well, and let stand for 5 minutes. 3) Now add egg and salt and stir well. 4) To this add the flour little by little until evenly mixed. 5) Now transfer this Dough to a flour spreaded surface and knead well( 3 - 5 min.)to get an elastic texture. Keep this dough covered with a thin polythene cover/cloth for 2 hours. 6) Again knead the dough for 2 minutes . 7) Make small dough balls(lemon sized) and lay them on a baking tray keep 2-3 inches apart.(the final product you will get is more than double in size) 8) Again cover the tray with polythene/cloth and keep for another 30-35 minutes. 9) Preheat oven 400 F 10) Bake for 15 minutes or until the buns get golden brown colour.
