    Dear Chitra,
Do you mean to say that i have to pick up the rudraksham based on my star?
Also can you elaborate on this rudraksha....do i buy one for all of us based onour stars and keep them in the puja room? Or should we wear them close to our bodies? What are the benefits ...i really dont haveany knowledge onthis...but was always curious...you seem to the right person to ask....as usual, where else will we go if you were not there?

I am here, but with limited knowledge on this !

    Dear Sudha,
This morning I had a mail from an I L ite asking for this & hence I posted it.
It may not be always possible to buy rudrakshams with the no: of faces we want ! Genuine ekamukham is difficult to get.
I am told the best place to buy ( pricewise) is Kathmandu & there also, it is safer to go through a known person. Now in Chennai we get genuine rudraksham sale regularly, once in 3,4 months. They give guarantee as well.
I once got from Kathmandu, ekamukham & have kept it in the puja.
If available we can buy the one for our star & keep in the puja room. There are controversial opinions about ladies wearing it. I am not competent to comment on it. Men can wear it, but should remove at night & during bath, it is said.
Indonesia is full of rudraksham trees & export all over. May be, that is the best place to buy.
There is a very near imitation bead for rudraksham & so half the time what we buy in shops may not be genuine at all !
    Love & regards,
    Chithra.

    Amazing true life experience

It was the most valuable gift in my life. The ring means a lot to me not becos it was studded with precious stones but it was given to me by dear hubby on our anniversary.

On Vinayagar Chathurthi day, I was pretty busy making kozukattais , I totally forgot the ring. In the evening when we all got ready to go for saree shopping did I realise that my ring is missing.

I was frantically searchng for the same and the day ended up with apprehension. I was totally upset about the ring missing.

The next day I logged into IL and Chithra's special slokha indexing caught my attention. There I found the slokha for finding lost things.

I chanted thrice both Varloo's as well as Chithra's slokhas. The very afternoon I got my ring back which was lying in between my clothes. Amazed at the power of these slokhas. Felt like as though Lord Hanuman himself came to my home to search for the ring.

My heart felt thanks to Chithra and Varloo who bought my smile back on my face.

Great a thanks to Chithra for her efforts in indexing the slokhas which is very useful to all the members of IL.:clap

Needless to say my joys knew no bounds on getting back my precious ring.
