    Bread Uppma:

Cut or tear about 6 slices of bread into bite sized chunks. Cut 1 onion and 1 potato into similar sized pieces. IN a large skillet, start off with the seasoning - mustart seeds or jeera, uradh or channa dhal, red or green chillies.

Saute the onion with a little bit of salt to hasten the cooking, add the potato and turmuric, sprinkle with water to continue speeding up the cooking. When done, add dhania-jeera powder or garam masala powder and the bread chunks. Mix it all together and allow to blend for a minute on the stove top. To crisp the bread, turn the flame very low and allow to sit for 2-3 mins. Top with a little bit of butter/ghee and coriander leaves to increase flavour.

Wow.. thats a very useful thread.. Thanks to the Sowraj :)

How about the egg schezwan noodles that can be prepared in 6 minutes?

    • Boil water in a large vessel - meanwhile cut 1 onion, and 1 green chilly. - 1 minute
    • Drop the noodles cake in the boiling water - meanwhile take a kadai and add oil , saute onion and salt, break open the egg in it, and let it cook -2 minute
    • Add red chilly paste, ginger garlic paste and pepper powder, soya sauce and tomato sauce in it - 1 minute
    • By this time the noodles would have boiled well, strain it remove the water and add it in the kadai along with the egg to saute - 1 minute.
    • Keep the flame high and toss it 1 minute to get fried, crispy, delicious egg schezwan noodles. Garnish with coriander.
I love this thread.. waiting to see more recipes that can be done quickly dear ladies.. Happy Women's Day :cheers

Poha also can be made quickly.

If you want to add potatoes, for instant making, slit the potato and directly keep it in microwave.
