After necessary editing.Forigners also will be interested to understand the spirituality of olden Era of Bharat.
Based on the references regarding the scientifically contents in Srimad Bhagavatham Americans are conducting many research'
    The following are very few.

1.Why Bhagavan Lord Krishna says that among flowers I am the tulasi flower. US scientists found out after research that tulasi flower can only produce Ozone which acts as a protective cover in the ionosphere and it can also be used for life saving medicines.

2, Also with Banyan tree Among the trees I am the Banyan tree which can produce maximum oxygen usually seen in almost all temples the air around 5 KMs radius will be purified around a big banyan tree.

The preethi to Lord is great in action

    Importance of love - Preeti

    Affectionate Love From Lord Krishna

Subhadra was Lord Krishna’s younger sister. Although Lord Krishna loved her, Draupadi, who was His step sister, was His favorite. One day, Subhadra asked Lord Krishna, "I am your real sister while Draupadi is your step sister, then why do You love her more than me?"

Lord Krishna smiled and said, "You will know the answer."

A few days later, Lord Krishna cut His finger and it started bleeding. He rushed to Subhadra and asked her to wrap a piece of cloth around His finger to stop the bleeding. Subhadra rushed to her wardrobe and started looking for an inexpensive garment to tear for bandaging the wound. Meanwhile, Draupadi happened to visit Subhadra. When she saw Lord Krishna’s bleeding finger, she instantly tore off a piece of the expensive silk garment that she was wearing and wrapped it around His finger. Soon the bleeding stopped.

Upon witnessing the behavior of Draupadi, who sacrificed her rich garment without blinking, Subhadra realized what pure love and devotion is. She felt ashamed that she loved her rich clothes more than The Lord and had received the answer to her question.

    Moral:
One should learn to love God just the way Draupadi did. Spiritual practice is a sure way to love.

    Nice anecdote

That was a nice one Sunkan. This reminds me.

Many years ago, my dad used to repeatedly tell a similar story to us. Inspite of that, its particulars are vague in my mind today. It goes something like this:

Lakshmana's adoration for Sri Rama was so great and all absorbing. It seems Lakshmana was a bit pained that Rama showered so much affection on Bharata when he came to visit Rama in the jungle for the padhukas. So Rama wanted to make it clear to Lakshmana that Bharata's love for him was no less. He asked Lakshmana to jump off a cliff. Lakshmana is taken aback. He turns to Rama and says, 'Brother, why so?' and prepares to jump when Rama stops him. When Bharata comes to them, Rama also says to him to jump off the cliff. Bharata at once is prepared to do so without even a question! Rama ofcourse stops him and looks at Lakshmana with a smile. Lakshmana has his answer! :)

I don't know if I was able to bring out the essence of this little story. It used to sound lovely when my dad told this in Tamil.

    Any slokas for exam?

My children are having their school exams this week. My daughter(10 years old) was asking me if there is any slokas to be chanted before opening her exam papers. Before this i only taught her to think of God before opening. I think she will feel better or maybe she will gain more confidence by chanting any
    simple and short slokas/mantras.
Kindly teach me one. Tq in advance......

    Being vegetarian

Thank you for the shlokas. My daughter was very happy about it.
We are not fully vegetarians. I want to know if there is a specific day in the week to be vegetarian for Sarasvathi amma.

    Tq in advance......
