Shloka for ugaadi We use to chant this shloka on ugaadi when my dad would give the BEVU-BELLA (a mixture of neem and jaggery) that denotes life as a mixture of happiness and sorrow. We would chant the below shloka and eat that mixture. Here in KL, though i don't get bevu-bella to eat, but still I get to experience the bevu-bella of life.
