Honey Wheat Bread - flavor of honey gives a special taste!

All measures are American cups-250 ml

    Warm water (105-115F/41-46C) - 60-125 ml

    Honey - 3 tbsp

    Active dry yeast - 1 package(1/4 oz/7 gms)

    Maida/all purpose flour - 2 cups

Whole wheat flour - ¾ cup

Skimmed milk powder - ¼ cup

    hydrogenated fat /butter - 2 tbsp

    Salt - 1 tsp

    egg - 1

I added egg (not replacement) & hydrogenated fat.

Usual method for breads, using FP or electric hand beater.
Since the tin was big, I created a partition by keeping thick folds of butter paper at one-third point along the length. This gives a better look to the finished bread when you bake with about 3 cups.

Pav Bhaji Pouches (1) - fusion cooking??!!

Divide Basic Dough for Bread Rolls (1)into small equal balls.
With boiled, mixed vegetables, make a dry filling using pav bhaji masala. Add tomato sauce or ketchup instead of chopped romatoes, to get a dry filling. Then proceed as shown in photos. I baked in muffin tins.

Multigrain Bread (1) - we all make a beeline for it!!

This recipe is my own combination, but turned out very tasty! Perhaps, you can make your small changes and try.

    Powder together in a mixie:

½ cup each of lapsi & oats

¼ cup each of wheat germ & oat bran

This powder will not be fine; but the result is good.

    Maida - 1 cup

    Dry yeast - 7 gms

Skimmed milk powder - 3 tbsp

    Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp

    Honey - 2 tbsp

    Salt - 1 tsp

    Hot water (120-130F – 49-54 C) - 200- 250 ml (about)

I allowed it to rise directly in a greased round baking tin, sprinkling flax seeds on top.

    Bake at 180 C for 25-30 mtes.
