Nature has gifted us with many amazing products packed with essential oils and nutrients that can help nourish each skin type. Some of our members have provided simple and effective face packs that you can try based on your skin type.
Egg Almond Facial Mask
This is very good for dry skin. Beat 1 egg and add 1 teaspoon of almond oil to it and mix it thoroughly and apply it on the face evenly and leave it on for around 10-15 minutes. Rinse it off after that with cold water. This facial mask leaves a glowing face for dry-skinned people since almond oil is known to play miracles on any sort of dry skin.
Mash 1/2 a banana and add 1 tbsp honey & 2 tbsp sour cream. Mix & apply on face & leave it for about 10 minutes. Wipe off with a damp cloth
- Green Gram and Tomato Face Pack
For Oily skin, you can do this simple face mask:
- Green gram powder — 2 tsp
- Tomato juice — 2 tsp
- Buttermilk — 2 tsp
Mix all the above and apply on the face and neck avoiding eye area. Wash after five minutes using cucumber juice and then water.
- Tomato Mask
Take pulp of one tomato, lemon peel of 1/2 lemon and 5 drops of lemon juice, mix them and apply it on your face for 15 minutes then wash it with lukewarm water.
- Grapes Mask
- Grapes (a few)
Peel and mash a few grapes. Use gauze to strain the mix and apply what is left in the gauze on the face. Gently massage the face so that the exfoliating properties can start acting. Rinse off with cold water to close the pores. Grapes are rich in Alpha hydroxide acid and are a great way to remove the dead skin cells.
- Pineapple Face Mask
- 2 teaspoons of chopped pineapple (you can use the caned one, as long as it is sugar free
- 3 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil.
Blend the ingredients using a food processor or blender and apply on the face. Leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water. Pineapple is contain enzymes that help the skin remove the dead skin cells and cleanses it from impurities. This way, it acts as an anti-inflammatory mask. On the other hand, olive oil adds healing powers and Vitamin E to the skin.
